Bandits have kidnapped 32 people in three communities of Batsari in Katsina State.
The incident occurred on Saturday night of 09-11-2024 in Dan Alhaji and Maidoriya villages.
Bandits attacked Maidoriya and shot dead two persons and kidnapped seven people, six females and one man.
At Dan Alhaji community, the bandits were able to under gun went into the bush with twenty five persons mostly women and children.
People mostly affected told Katsina Times that such attacks have become rampant as bandits kidnapped dozens at Gaje village some few days to the Saturday's kidnappings in Dan Alhaji and Maidoriya villages.
Efforts to contact security agencies in Batsari by Katsina proved abortive.
